Belonging Circles
Belonging Circles are an opportunity for Belonging Ambassadors (returning students) to engage fellow students , especially new students (first-year, transfer, and graduate) in a conversation about what the U of A definition of belonging is and how one can cultivate a sense of belonging for one’s self and others.

Anyone can request a dialogue circle and circles can be comprised of a variety of individuals with no set requirements. Examples include but are in no way limited to:
- First year seminar courses
- Service-learning courses
- Dialogue based courses
- Student government bodies
- Student advisory boards
- Student committees
- Registered student organizations
- Student clubs or groups
- Residence hall floors
- Greek chapters
